Question of the Week

Last week I asked about toy organization and got some great ideas on ways to improve our toy situation.  Now I am wondering if you feel that the overall organization of your home affects the attitudes of those who live there?  Do you feel/believe that having a well organized home creates a more positive atmosphere?  Or does the atmosphere of the home have more to do with the attitude of  those living there?  I'll post my opinion on this matter in a couple days, just wondering how other people think about this.

  1. Hmmm...this question is tricky! I think the atmosphere of the home is definitely dependant on the attitudes of those living there (when I have a good attitude, our home is much happier!). However, I think organization can help keep the home positive, as well. When my kids know where things belong and get into the habit of putting them there, my home is MUCH happier. For example, my kids know where to put their shoes and coats and {usually} put them away upon entering the house. They also know where dirty clothes belong and put them their after changing clothes. As for toys, we're still working on this one and let me tell you, I would be much HAPPIER if my kids put their toys away on their own! Waiting to hear your opinion... :)
